Community Fictions Goes Online

The first stories from the Community Fictions project can now be seen on the Possible Worlds youtube channel.

I have met some wonderful people in Southampton and been touched and entertained by the stories they have had to tell.  Many participants have also expressed surprise at the fictions unearthed from their imaginations, and a lot of fun was had.

The project has created some wonderful tales.  I am humbled by humanity's capacity for creation.

Thanks go especially to the Burgess Road Library, where many of the stories were filmed.

Advocating the Imagination

This week Possible Worlds is embarking on a new long-term creative project: Advocating the Imagination.

The Advocating the Imagination project will develop forums for members of the public to express artistic visions, stories, oppinions and feelings in a variety of media.

The project has been kicked off with Community Fictions, in which members of Campbell's community in Southampton are being encouraged to develop fictional stories for exhibition on Youtube.  The first submissions will be up soon.
